Day 2 - Bonifacio/Corsica/France - 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
Your first destination: Bonifacio on Corsica. One way of making the most of this idyllic town is on a walking tour*, taking a little train up to the higher part of town. From the Esplanade Saint Francois you will get a great view of the town’s cliffs and the Saint Dominique church with its octagonal bell tower, one of the few Gothic buildings on the island. Or take a scenic journey to the Col de Bavella* to discover the fabulous mountain scenery of Corsica.
Day 3 - Cagliari/Sardinia/Italy, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Cagliari on the island of Sardinia also promises a varied experience, with a historic centre featuring sights such as the Elephant Tower and plenty of shops and cafes as well as some fine sandy beaches. A particularly enjoyable part of the city tour* is a wander around Italy’s largest fish market, the Mercato di San Benedetto, with its many different kinds of seafood. You can also venture out into the surrounding area to visit Dolianova and Serdiana*. Leaving this former diocese, the journey takes you through idyllic hilly countryside to a family-run vineyard, where you can enjoy a wine tasting.
FAMILY EXCURSION: A large island seen in miniature: at the Sardegna in miniatura* theme park, we will see detailed reproductions of Sardinia’s beautiful buildings. We then start our boat trip around the mini version of the island.
Day 4 - Cruising around Capri, Italy approx. 11.00 – 12.30 hrs.  Capri/Italy 1:00 pm - Midnight
On the third day of the cruise, you will approach a true pearl of the Mediterranean: Capri. To start, the EUROPA 2 cruises around the island. Discover this UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site on a scenic tour*. The archaeological museum* provides some enlightening insights into the cultural history of the islands. In the afternoon, the EUROPA 2 takes you to Lipari’s neighbouring island, Vulcano, which truly lives up to its name. Steam rises out of fumaroles and you can take a thermal bath in the hot mud baths before heading off to Sicily and Mount Etna.
TEEN EXCURSION: On Lipari, a motor boat trip marks the exciting start to a snorkelling adventure by the volcano*. You will discover various caves and an underwater tunnel, which is home to countless fish.
Day 7 - Naxos (Taormina)/Sicily/Italy - 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
