Relaxation at sea
Southampton/England/Great Britain , 7.00 – 19.00 hrs

The EUROPA 2 will set a course from Hamburg to Southampton. Here, you will be greeted by British tradition and contemporary art: the Southampton City Art Gallery is one of the greatest collections in the UK. Set out on a fascinating trip to London* from this port city. Enjoy the greatest sights of this royal city, from Trafalgar Square to St Paul’s Cathedral. Alternatively, marvel at the mysteries and legends of Stonehenge* and explore the mediaeval townscape of Salisbury*. Visit the Palace of Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum*. Over 250 old vehicles illustrate the history of motorisation.

Relaxation at sea
La Coruna/Spain, 8.00 – 18.00 hrs

After a relaxing day at sea, reach La Coruna with its 1,900-year-old landmark: the Tower of Hercules lighthouse, which remains operational. The historic old town is just as impressive as the gleaming facades in the port. La Coruna is also your gateway to one of the most important Christian pilgrimage sites: Santiago de Compostela*. Visit the grand cathedral, which is said to be built on the grave of the holy Saint James the Greater. The cathedral is the destination of the famous Way of St James, the final stage of which you can explore on a hike*.

Lisbon/Portugal, arrival 18.00 hrs

You can also experience atmospheric moments in Lisbon. In the evening, dive into the indescribable feel of fado before exploring the city on the Tejo the following day in whatever way you choose: with a combination of a city tour and walk*, with the nostalgic tram* in narrow urban canyons or on a unique Segway tour*. Alternatively, let the backdrop of the whitewashed houses in Obidos and Alcobaca* enchant you.

Lisbon/departure 11.00 hrs
Cadiz/Spain, 7.00 – 18.00 hrs

Cadiz offers the opportunity to take a relaxing stroll. With its picturesque streets, small squares and squat, flat-roofed houses, it has retained its original charm. From here, travel to the lively city of Seville*, where the skyline is shaped by the Giralda, the bell tower of the late-Gothic cathedral. Alternatively, experience Andalusian flair in Arcos and Jerez* or take a walk in the La Brena* natural park.

Malaga/Spain, 7.00 – 0.00 hrs

Artistic masterpieces await you in Malaga, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. Follow in his footsteps* through the outstanding collection in the Picasso Museum into the house where he was born. Alternatively, the Alhambra of Granada* is an excellent example of the Moorish-Arabian style. Almost unremarkable from the outside, the palace conceals surprising splendour with opulent gardens and rich ornaments. Ronda*, one of the oldest cities in Spain, will also lead you deep into the past.

Relaxation at sea
Valencia/Spain, 8.00 – 18.00 hrs

The charms of Valencia include Gothic and Eastern influences as well as futuristic buildings. Experience the four faces of the city both on a tour* and on a cycling tour along the river Turia* to the hyper-modern City of Arts and Sciences.
