Day 1 - Limassol/Cyprus- Embarkation of the MS Europa 2, departure 8:00 pm
Day 2 - Haifa/Israel, 7:00 am – 9:00 pm
Haifa is a pearl on the Mediterranean. Impressively nestled between Mount Carmel and long sandy beaches, it is brimming with sights like the Bahai Shrine and its golden dome. Setting out from Haifa, travel to the ancient royal town of Caesarea*, where the ruins reflect the glory of the Roman Empire. Follow the trail of the Bible in Nazareth and on a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee*, the lowest freshwater lake in the world. Alternatively, enhance your experience on Haifa with impressive gardens and fine wines*.
Day 3 - Ashdod/Israel, 6:00 am – 7:00 pm
The roots of Ashdod date back to the 12th century, and the city will be your starting point for a trip to the fortress of Masada*, which to this day remains a symbol of freedom for Israel. It towers high above the Dead Sea* where, after your detour into Jewish history, you can actually float on the surface of the water. Alternatively, discover a number of the most important cities of Christianity in Jerusalem* and Bethlehem* – from the Garden of Gethsemane to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to the birthplace of Jesus. Or, take a different kind of tip and explore* Tel Aviv on a Segway.
Day 4 - Port Said/Egypt, 5:00 am– 9:00 pm
One day later on your programme, you will encounter the highlights of Egypt: setting out from Port Said, visit the legendary Pyramids of Giza* and the Sphinx – either combined with a visit to the Egyptian Museum* in Cairo, an atmospheric Nile safari or an unforgettable camel ride and an off-road drive*.
Day 5 - Relaxation at sea
Day 6 - Heraklion/Crete/Greece, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
