picturesque village of Lindos. Shop and haggle in the Turkish city of Antalya, and in Cyprus you

|Day 1 - Piraeus
(Athens)/Greece, departure 9:00 pm
|Day 2 -
Nauplia/Peloponnese/Greece - 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
|The EUROPA 2 will set a
course from Piraeus to Nauplia. This idyllic spot on the Peloponnese is your starting point for
a boat trip along the narrow Corinth Canal*, which was completed in 1893.
Afterwards, visit ancient Corinth and gain an insight into the glamorous past.
Mycenae* and Epidaurus* also feature majestic buildings, including the Lion’s Gate;
a grand testament to high culture on the ancient Aegean, and the theatre in
Epidaurus, famous for its acoustics and location.
|Day 3 -
Santorini/Cyclades/Greece - 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm
also await you on Santorini. The gorgeous Cycladic architecture
virtually invites you to captivate it with your camera – the blue and white
photos of Santorini are famous throughout the world. The most overwhelming
impressions can be gained in the village of Megalochori* - with its whitewashed
houses, beautiful churches, blue domes and colourful bougainvillea, it is
regarded as one of Greece’s picture-perfect idylls. FAMILY EXCURSION: One of the most picturesque places in the
Cyclades is the backdrop for the great Santorini photo rally*. Set out in teams
through Oia with its whitewashed houses, blue domes and unique location right at
the edge of the caldera. Documentary evidence of your solutions to the rally
questions is provided in the form of photos taken along the
|Day 4 - Agios
Nikolaos/Crete/Greece - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
|Crete also retains numerous traces of the ancient past. You can set out
from Agios Nikolaos to follow the footsteps of the Minotaur in the legendary city
of Knossos*. Take a Land Rover safari* and reach the beautiful village of Kroustas,
where you can enjoy a typical Greek cafe frappe. More active guests can enjoy a
mountain-bike tour* through the natural beauty of Crete’s spectacular landscape.
TEENS’ EXCURSION: The famous Palace of Knossos on Crete is surrounded by myriad
legends. When visiting the ruins, dive into the mythical past and discover the
secrets of the Minoans*.
|Day 5 -
Rhodes/Dodecanese Islands/Greece, 8:00 am –
|Rhodes is no less impressive, where the old town is a UNESCO World
Heritage Site. Wander through narrow streets and alleys lined with small shops,
quaint restaurants and comfortable cafes. A highlight of Rhodes, in the truest
sense of the word, is the site of Lindos and its acropolis*. White houses crowd
underneath the second-largest building of its kind in the country, situated on a
116-metre high cliff. The Mediterranean fragrances of thyme, oregano and basil will
greet you on your stroll through nature* towards the village of Salakos and its
colourful traditional houses. CHILDREN’S EXCURSION: Set off on a photo rally through the old
town of Rhodes*. We’ll explore the city's numerous unmissable buildings and take a
load of great photos. Who’ll take the best photo?
|Day 6 -
Antalya/Turkey - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
|Antalya is one of the most beautiful cities in
Turkey, where the narrow streets in the old city make for a perfect place to shop
and haggle. Take trips into the ancient past in Perga, Aspendos* and Termessos*.
Alternatively, take part in an exciting quad-bike safari* through the spurs of
the Taurus Mountains. FAMILY EXCURSION: Set off from Antalya to enjoy a rafting
experience* in the Taurus Mountains. We’ll tame the wild water, glide over rapids
and feel the power of the water on our skin. A wet and wild adventure for kids
|Day 7 -
Paphos/Cyprus 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
|According to legend,
Aphrodite came ashore in Cyprus after her birth. Follow the goddess when the EUROPA 2 calls at
the port of Paphos, full of tavernas and shops. The vast ruins are just as
appealing, bringing history to life as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For example,
marvel at the great mosaics* in the House of Dionysus and the mythical cliffs of
Aphrodite. Enjoy majestic nature on a hike through Avagas

availability. If you book a combination of several cruises in a guaranteed Veranda/Ocean Suite,
it will be necessary to change suites after each individual cruise. Continuous occupancy of the
same suite throughout the cruises is not possible. You will receive your exact suite number on
board at the beginning of the cruise (limited allotment).
