In Singapore, you can set the mood for your cruise in the South China Sea before the lively capital city of the Sultanate of Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan*, welcomes you. Look forward to moving moments at the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre* in Sandakan, where you can experience around 200 orangutans, a protected species. After the EUROPA 2 has welcomed you on board in Singapore and you have set the mood for your holiday during a relaxing day in the South China Sea, you will visit the third largest island in the world: Borneo. The centre and the markets of the Malay city Bintulu offer you exciting insights into the present and the past of the former fishing village. The Niah caves of Sarawak* have you travelling back in time and show you the traces of the people who inhabited them in early history.
Tue 04-Feb-2014 Muara (Bandar Seri Begawan)/Brunei, 8.00 – 18.00 hrs
By contrast, you will experience the altogether different appeal of Muara the following morning. From Muara, we will travel to Bandar Seri Begawan* – you can explore the highlights of the dynamic capital of the Sultanate of Brunei here or join a trip with traditional longboats* into the deep rainforests along the Temburong River.

The next day, Malaysia’s Kota Kinabalu is your starting point for a hike* through Kinabalu National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Speedy white water rafting* offers you the opportunity to actively experience the Kiulu River.
Thu 06-Feb-2014 Sandakan/Sabah/Malaysia, 12.00 – 19.00 hrs
You may subsequently wish to visit the main attraction in Sandakan, the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre*. Around 200 orangutans, a protected species, live here. A fascinating boat trip* takes you through the midst of Borneo’s diverse nature – flora and fauna could hardly be more exotic.
Fri 07-Feb-2014 Puerto Princesa/Palawan/Philippines, 12.00 – 19.00 hrs
At lunchtime on Friday, you reach Puerto Princesa, capital city of the Philippine group of islands Palawan, aboard the EUROPA 2. On a tour* of the surroundings of the city including a visit to the lively markets and a crocodile farm or during a boat trip* through Honda Bay with its bright turquoise water and lush green jungle along the shore, you will experience the numerous facets of this region.
